Day 1 — Calgary / Banff

Sunday / Thursday

Transfer from Calgary Int’l Airport or downtown Calgary to the beautiful mountain town of Banff. Surrounded by majestic mountains, Banff is the doorway to winter fun & variety of activities to enjoy the great outdoors. From dog sledding to cross country skiing, area tours, and hot springs, Banff provides endless adventures for both the young and young at heart Overnight Banff.

Day 2 — Banff

Monday / Friday

Begin your day with an area tour of Banff and its Wildlife. Visit Banff’s landmarks and view wildlife in their natural habitats. Free time this afternoon allows for a visit to the Sulphur Mountain Gondola, or Banff Hot Springs. Enjoy a wide selection of dining choices throughout the town ranging from Western style locally sourced meals to pub dining, cafés or fine dining. Overnight Banff.

Day 3 — Banff / Lake Louise

Tuesday / Saturday

Afternoon transfer service from Banff to Lake Louise today with time this afternoon to relax and view the surrounding mountains. Enjoy the indoor pool or sit on the deck. Overnight Lake Louise.

Day 4 — Lake Louise / Jasper

Wednesday / Sunday

Mid-afternoon transfer service takes you north on the Icefields Parkway. Travel through some of the most majestic mountains vistas in Canada. Watch for wildlife as you continue your winter adventure north to the town of Jasper. Overnight Jasper.

Day 5 — Jasper

Thursday / Monday

Enjoy a morning sightseeing tour of Jasper town site and surrounding areas. Led by knowledgeable tour guides who are well versed in the history, geology and ecology, your adventure takes you to visit the Athabasca Valley as well as some of the parks most beautiful scenery. It may be possible to add in a Canyon Ice Walk for you this evening. Ask about the options! Overnight Jasper.

Day 6 — Jasper / VIA Rail

Friday / Tuesday

Morning is at leisure today with time for last minute shopping, exploring, and photography. This afternoon transfer from hotel to rail station to begin your overnight stay aboard VIA Rail’s train the CANADIAN, in Sleeper Plus Class. Enjoy comfortable accommodations, private or semi-private, access to the Skyline & Park cars, and sumptuous meals prepared by the chef in the dining car. Whether you’re relaxing in your accommodations, dining or sitting in the dome area, enjoy gorgeous views of the passing winter scenery, snow laden pine trees, ice covered lakes, and dramatic skylines. Overnight VIA Rail — Dinner aboard VIA Rail included.

Day 7 — VIA Rail / Vancouver

Saturday / Wednesday

This morning enjoy a full hot breakfast in the dining car prior to arrival into Vancouver, BC, home to the mildest winters in Canada. Your tour includes transfer service to hotel or airport. Breakfast aboard VIA Rail included.
