Day 1 — Vancouver

Saturday / Monday

Your holiday begins with private transfer service from airport to downtown Vancouver today. Enjoy the Vancouver nightlife, open markets, casual or formal dining, or walk along Robson and Granville Street for interesting shopping and local specialties. Vancouver is a laid back city surrounded by the Pacific Ocean and the North Vancouver Mountains. Overnight Vancouver.

Day 2 — Vancouver / VIA Rail

Sunday / Tuesday

Enjoy a half day sightseeing tour including a visit to Stanley Park, Granville Island, Chinatown, beautiful English Bay and more. Your professional tour guide will tell you about the places you're visiting and make suggestions providing intuitive educational information to enhance your Vancouver experience. This evening your private transfer service will take you to Pacific Central station where you will board VIA Rail's flagship train the Canadian for your overnight journey into Canadian Rockies. Sleeper Plus accommodation guests enjoy private lounge waiting area and priority boarding. Look out your large private window and watch the passing suburbs and urban sprawl that create the Greater Vancouver area. Overnight VIA Rail.

Day 3 — VIA Rail / Jasper

Monday / Wednesday

Wake up to views of the approaching Canadian Rocky Mountains. Walk down to the Park Car and spend time in the dome seating providing 360 degree views of surrounding landscapes. Your journey takes you thousands of feet high up into the fresh Canadian air amidst mountain peaks and deep valleys. Watch for Mount Robson, the Canadian Rockies highest peak. Late afternoon arrival into Jasper with complimentary bellman transfer service to your hotel. Breakfast and lunch served aboard VIA Rail. Overnight Jasper.

Day 4 — Jasper

Tuesday / Thursday

Discover the beauty of Jasper National Park today with a half day sightseeing tour. Your touring will take you to local points of interest including the Athabasca Viewing Point, Medicine Lake, and Maligne Canyon. Summer travellers enjoy a boat cruise on gorgeous Maligne Lake making a trip around Sprit Island, one of the most photographed islands in the Canadian Rockies. Watch for wildlife as you travel through the park, with possible sightings of Black bear, mountain goats, moose, Elk, lynx and more. Overnight Jasper.

Day 5 — Jasper / VIA Rail / Prince George

Wednesday / Friday

Morning at leisure to spend time exploring Jasper's downtown area. This afternoon transfer back to the rail station for your departure aboard VIA Rail's Jasper to Prince Rupert train in Touring Class. Touring Class provides meal service at your seat. You can also head up to the dome car for excellent viewing of the surrounding landscapes. Your rail attendant is ready to provide excellent service to ensure your comfort whilst you sit back, relax and enjoy the passing scenery. Arrival into Prince George this evening with taxi transfer service to hotel. Lunch & dinner served aboard VIA Rail.

Day 6 — Jasper / VIA Rail

Thursday / Saturday

Early morning taxi transfer to the rail station to continue your journey west. Watch for an assortment of mountain ranges including the Telkwa Mountains, Skeena Range and the Seven Sisters mountain peaks just to name a few. Pass over bridges and through valleys and see many lakes, rivers and waterfalls that make up Northern BC. The train passes through many small towns and villages both old and new, some deserted. Your rail journey ends with arrival into Prince Rupert tonight. It is possible your train may be delayed in arrival, as this is a highly popular routing for freight trains. Your rail attendants will be available for information on possible delays. Upon arrival into Prince Rupert continue to your hotel with taxi transfer service. Breakfast, lunch & dinner served aboard VIA Rail. Overnight Prince Rupert.

Day 7 — Prince Rupert

Friday / Sunday

A day to relax and take in British Columbia's Pacific coast. Your hotel is located close to the harbour and just steps way from the beach. Take time to explore the abundance of Native American history, artwork and traditions. Museums, totem poles, and a high concentration of archeological sites make this city a fascinating stop on your holiday. Northcoast waters offer unparalleled world-class fishing for salmon, halibut, cod and crab. The islands, reefs and sandbars near Prince Rupert offer superb fish habitat, and charter operators will take you to the best spots. Even if you're not fishing, you'll be cruising through spectacular land and seascapes, and many operators offer sightseeing tours. Overnight Prince Rupert.

Day 8 — Prince Rupert

Saturday / Monday

Today you transfer to airport check-in location for your continued journey home. Flights are available in both morning and afternoon (not included). For those looking to continue to Vancouver Island, please enquire with us for more information.
