Including a luxurious rail journey, your holiday begins with a trip to the famed Canadian Rocky Mountains and a respite in breath-taking mountain scenery. For twenty-eight years, travellers from all over the world have gathered at the pristine mountain resort to take part in an entertaining and unforgettable experience and get a head start on the Christmas season in the company of notable chefs, wine aficionados and decorating experts. This morning we will leave the big city and transfer through the Canadian Rocky Mountains Icefield Parkway to Jasper. En-route to Jasper enjoy the impressive views of the Canadian Rockies surrounding you 360 degrees. Watch for wildlife as your transfer takes you through Banff & Lake Louise to your next destination.

Your next destination is the celebrated Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge, all-aglow for the holiday season! Transfer to the Lodge and the celebrations will begin with a Welcome Stand-up Dinner Reception in the seasonally decorated Great Hall of the Lodge. After a hearty breakfast at the Lodge, we begin our sessions with North America’s finest chefs, wine experts and decorating specialists. Seminars and demonstrations are offered to sharpen your Christmas culinary skills. Craft classes present hands-on practice and great holiday decorating ideas. Enjoy the Winemakers Dinner this evening at the Lodge. Overnight Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge — breakfast, lunch and dinner at the hotel included.

How about attending a wine tasting today with some of the wine experts? Take a break and breathe in some fresh Rocky Mountain air on a special cottage tour aboard a horse drawn wagon. The Lodge's original cottages (some dating back to 1928) are beautifully decorated for the holidays. Using garlands, bows, fresh greenery and thousands of twinkling lights, discover lots of super ideas for decorating your home. A reception and Gala Dinner at the Lodge finish off another interesting and enjoyable day. Overnight Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge — breakfast, lunch and dinner included.

Enjoy a continental breakfast and a brunch as the formal celebrations conclude. In the afternoon and evening you will have an opportunity to enjoy the lodge and all its amenities and perhaps a stroll around the grounds of the Lodge. Enjoy a quiet drink in the Emerald Lounge or enjoy the outdoor pool and hot tub. The day is yours. Overnight Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge — Continental Breakfast and brunch included.

In the morning enjoy a full buffet breakfast and leisure time before transferring to the Jasper Railway Station for an afternoon departure aboard VIA Rail's train Canadian. Enjoy dinner in the Art Deco dining car and a relaxing evening in the Park Car's lounges or your cozy sleeping car accommodations. Overnight VIA Rail — Buffet Breakfast at the hotel and dinner on the train included.

This morning the train pulls into Pacific Central Station for a mid morning arrival. Transfer to your downtown Vancouver accommodation and spend the day exploring the many streets, Chinatown, Granville Island, various museums, or just enjoy the views. Located on the shores of the Pacific Ocean, Vancouver is a temperate city with its own spectacular mountain vistas, numerous beaches, and varied shops & restaurants. Overnight Hotel Vancouver — breakfast aboard VIA Rail included.

Stay in Vancouver for a few days and continue your adventures or transfer to Vancouver International Airport for your journey home with fond memories and great ideas for Christmas.
