Amtrak Whistler Winter Experience

Travel aboard Amtrak's Cascades train service from Seattle to Vancouver and return. Enjoy a three night stay in world class ski resort, Whistler, BC.

Day 1 — Seattle / Amtrak / Whistler

Sit back and relax aboard Amtrak's Cascades train service from Seattle to Vancouver. Enjoy the views of the western coast line, forested river paths, and open spaces found along the way to your destination. Amtrak bus service from Vancouver to Whistler has you arriving into the popular mountain town of Whistler, BC this evening. Overnight Whistler

Day 2 — Whistler

Wake up in a winter paradise. Whistler is famous for its many ski hills, shopping, and excellent cuisine. Adventurers can enjoy a variety of activities including Ziptrek ecotours, bungee-jumping, or sign up for a bobsled class and trip on the official 2010 bobsled tracks. Overnight Whistler

Day 3 — Whistler

For those looking for a softer adventure you can choose to visit the Scandanavian Spa located in the peaceful forests of the Whistler area. Or spend time visiting the Squamish Lil'wat Cultural Centre inclusive of art gallery, museum, and both ecological and cultural guided tours within the centre. Take a ride on the Whistler Gondola used by skiers to transport themselves up to the top of the mountain. You can certainly ride it as a non-skiing tourist. This allows you to ride the Whistler Gondola up the top of Whistler, and then board the Peak2Peak gondola which connects Whistler Mountain with neighbouring Blackcomb Mountain. Overnight Whistler

Day 4 — Whistler / Amtrak / Seattle

Enjoy leisure time this morning prior to heading to the bus loop for your continued journey home. Amtrak provides bus service from Whistler into downtown Vancouver today, and then continue with Amtrak's rail service Cascades, to downtown Seattle this evening.
