Situated in Alberta’s magnificent Jasper National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the iconic Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge resort invites you to experience our Great Canadian Lodge, surrounded by nature and abundant wildlife.

Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge is a 700 acre year-round luxury mountain resort which wraps around the shores of pristine Lac Beauvert. The resort’s charming village of cedar chalets and Luxury Signature Cabins, all connected by picturesque paths offer guests unique access to explore the natural environment surrounding the resort.

Day 1 — Vancouver / VIA Rail

Friday / Tuesday

Arrive into Pacific Central Station for an early evening departure aboard VIA Rail’s train Canadian, in Sleeper Plus Class accommodations. Relax in your sleeper car accommodations or enjoy the ambiance of the Park Car and its scenic dome or one of the comfortable lounges. Overnight VIA Rail.

Day 2 — VIA Rail / Jasper

Saturday / Wednesday

Start your day in beautiful surroundings as the train approaches the Canadian Rockies. As you enjoy breakfast in the dining car, watch for wildlife and magnificent Mt. Robson, the highest peak in the Canadian range. Arrive mid-afternoon at Jasper, nestled in the heart of Jasper National Park, and transfer to the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge with time for exploring the charming town, taking part in one of the many outdoor activities, or just relax by the roaring fire. Overnight Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge — breakfast & lunch included aboard VIA Rail.

Day 3 — Jasper

Sunday / Thursday

This morning take part in a sightseeing tour of Jasper National Park. Learn about the history and geology of the Rocky Mountains whilst keeping a keen eye for local wildlife including elk, deer, sheep, goats, coyotes, wolves and moose just to name a few. This afternoon provides the opportunity to spend time taking part in a variety of winter style activities around the hotel such as ice skating, swimming in the indoor/outdoor pool, or just lounging by the fire. Day 4 — Jasper / Lake Louise

Monday / Friday

Today enjoy a journey along the Icefields Parkway traveling from Jasper to Lake Louise. Your morning transfer provides a great view of the passing mountains, and wildlife can be seen in the distance as you make your way south to gorgeous Lake Louise. Stay at the world renowned Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise and enjoy spectacular views from your Lake View room. Enjoy a variety of choices for dining this evening in any one of five different restaurants, lounges and deli. Spa services are available to complete your perfect day. Day 5 — Lake Louise / Banff

Tuesday / Saturday

Enjoy a morning at leisure and then take the midday transfer to Banff for a two night stay. This afternoon offers free time to explore Banff. Visit the Banff Park Museum and step back in time. Or visit the Buffalo Nations Luxton Museum to learn about the original inhabitants of the area. Check out the abundance of shops and restaurants found all along the main street. Visit the Sulphur Mountain Gondola and take a trip to the top of the mountain for breathtaking views of the mountains and valley. The Banff Upper Hot Springs are another popular spot to visit for a relaxing swim in the soothing volcanic hot waters all whilst savouring the spectacular alpine view. Day 6 — Banff

Wednesday / Sunday

This morning begin your day with a sightseeing tour of Banff and its wildlife. A great opportunity to visit Banff’s landmarks and see wildlife up close and in their natural habitat. Enjoy leisure time this afternoon or ask about the possibility of adding in more sightseeing excursions for your visit. Overnight Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel.

Day 7 — Banff / Calgary

Thursday / Monday

Your special holiday concludes today with transfer service from Banff to downtown Calgary or Calgary Int’l Airport.
