Day 1 — Vancouver

Monday / Thursday

Your touring begins with private transfer from airport to hotel today. Located between the North Shore Mountains and Pacific Ocean, vibrant Vancouver offers a variety of shopping, restaurants, street artists, festivals, and more. Walk the cobblestone streets of Gastown, visit Robson Street and Granville Street for an exciting look at what this city has to offer. Overnight Vancouver

Day 2 — Vancouver / Rocky Mountaineer / Kamloops

Tuesday / Friday

Early morning transfer to rail station today. Travel northeast through British Columbia today passing lush green fields of the Fraser River Valley, through forests and winding river canyons surrounded by the peaks and of the Coast Cascade Mountains. Enjoy deliciously prepared meal service in the dining car (Gold Leaf) or served at your seat (Silver Leaf). Your day concludes with arrival into Kamloops early evening with transfer service to your hotel. Breakfast & lunch served aboard Rocky Mountaineer. Overnight Kamloops

Day 3 — Kamloops / Rocky Mountaineer / Jasper

Wednesday / Saturday

Begin your day with transfer service to rail station early morning. Continue your journey north east into the province of Alberta. Watch for Mount Robson (3,954 metres / 12,972 feet), the highest peak in the Canadian Rocky Mountains. Sit back and relax as your rail attendant provides commentary about the history and geology of the places you pass through. Watch for Pyramid Falls as you enter into Jasper National Park today. Arrive Jasper early evening and transfer to your hotel. Breakfast & lunch served aboard Rocky Mountaineer. Overnight Jasper

Day 4 — Jasper

Thursday / Sunday

Begin your day with an exciting tour of Jasper National Park. Your tour includes stops at Medicine Lake and Maligne Canyon. This afternoon take part in a scenic boat cruise on Maligne Lake. Watch for wildlife including bear, elk, mountain goat and lynx. Overnight Jasper

Day 5 — Jasper / Lake Louise

Friday / Monday

Early morning pickup for your Icefield Parkway Discovery Sightseeing Tour. Stops include Glacier Skywalk, a glass floored platform extending 30 metres out over Sunwapta Valley. Visit the Icefield Centre for the Glacier Experience, utilizing a specially designed vehicle that takes you up onto the Athabasca Glacier. Enjoy vast views of the mountains and valleys as you visit Crowfoot Glacier, Bow Lake, Peyto Lake, and the Athabasca Falls. Early evening arrival into Lake Louise. Buffet lunch at Icefields Parkway. Overnight Lake Louise

Day 6 — Lake Louise / Banff

Saturday / Tuesday

Mid-morning pickup for Mountains, Lakes & Waterfalls Tour. Your day begins with lunch at Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise. Continue with a visit to Moraine Lake, Valley of the Ten Peaks, Spiral Tunnels, and Takakkaw Falls. Your driver guide will provide commentary about the history and geology of the region. Early evening arrival to your hotel in Banff. Lunch at Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise. Overnight Banff

Day 7 — Banff

Sunday / Wednesday

Morning exploration of Banff & Yoho National Park. This tour includes all the must see spots and is highlighted with a visit to the Banff Gondola for 360 degree views of six mountain ranges. Other stops include Bow Falls, Tunnel Mountain Drive, Surprise Corner, Hoodoos, Two Jack Viewpoint, and Lake Minnewanka. Afternoon at leisure today. Overnight Banff

Day 8 — Banff / Calgary

Monday / Thursday

Your tour concludes with transfer service to Calgary Int'l Airport. Various departure times available for your return home.
